Because I am sociable, loving , kind , and compassionate . I am interesting and interested in the world around me. I am passionate about the people and things I love. I am an outdoorsy person, although I love visiting cities to experience everything they offer too.
I dislike intolerance, injustice, arrogance and cruelty -be it to people or animals.
I keep fit by walking and trekking - I love this sort of holiday.I also am a keen gardener and home maker - having moved house in the last 16 months theres lots of this to do!I have dogs and am an animal lover.
To relax I like to socialise with friends or family ,wining or dining, visiting places of interest etc..... the list goes on.
I am generally a reasonably optimistic person though like most people of my age have experienced sadness as well as happiness.But we only have one life and I want to make the most of it! But t would be so much nicer to share it with someone special!

Since relationships are not about changing someone to fit an ideal these are the qualities I should like my ideal match to have. Funny, caring, compassionate, tactile ,loving, . Would be nice if he was romantic too!He could have a cheeky side to his personality too.An active man- not a person who prefers to spend ages in front of the tv. With interests of his own.Someone who is not self absorbed , but interested in others and the world we live in.
Someone who realises that for a relationship to work there has to be give and take- compromise.I would like to share walking, cooking, maybe horse riding , visiting places and travel too.
