How on earth does one answer this question?! I am compassionate, try to be tolerant and non judgemental.

I am always interested in other people's points of view. Am traditional and conservative in many ways but in others plough my own furrow. I am a good listener and always enjoy meeting new people though preferably in small groups or one on one. I love travelling and have done quite a lot though not for a while. It doesn't have to be 5* but not camping or caravans either. To get to know me you need to ask me any questions that you have. Honesty and transparency are important to me. I have recently returned to live in England having lived in South Africa for many years and before that lived in Kenya. Being more or less a 'Colonial' I'm probably 'more British than the British' and was brought up with the 'pull yourself together and get on with it', 'stiff upper lip' sort of attitude.

Another very difficult one to answer. I need someone to share the same thoughts as mine as far as honesty, transparency, compassion, love of animals are concerned. I am happy for him to have his own hobbies and interests and am not a 'clingy' type of person. No 'hidden agendas', no smokers and no heavy drinkers. I don't drink a lot but am happy to have a glass of wine or G&T on occasion. I ask a lot of questions and am prepared to answer any as communication is really the only way in which to get to know someone. I'm looking for someone who is able to do things on the spur of the moment, not too set in their ways and who doesn't expect me to 'fit into boxes'. If, skinny dipping is your thing, I don't do it. The thought of old bodies on display brings on fits of giggles, and anyway, to me, nudity is a private thing for two people, even for those who have perfect bodies.
