I am an honest, caring, sincere and loving lady historian and writer. My interests are History; archaeology; art; music, walking, spirituality the countryside in every season..
I enjoy eating out at 'real food establishments'...I enjoy good food and wine, interesting conversation and unusual people.
I adore visiting pre historic landscapes, ancient churches and standing stones, and old house restoration.
I dislike football and junk food, arrogance and deceit.
I relax by walking, being in the country, a a glass of wine outside in the summer, by an open fire in the winter. Watching historical films and documentaries, meeting new and fascinating people, and visiting inspiring places.

My ideal match would be someone who is kind, generous, unselfish, and above all honest. I have no pre conceived ideas about looks, after all beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
The most important thing for me is that any potential partner should share at least some of my interests, and me his. Honesty is the thing that I believe above all else makes a relationship work.
I also like a gentleman to behave like a gentleman...there are far to few of them these days.
