Caring, intelligent, fun, spontaneous, music loving, wannabe traveller, but also a quiet homebird with it.
I'm interested in most things - life and the world around us is pretty interesting, after all!
I'm an environmentalist country girl at heart, but love culture, art, cities and diversity! Grew up with a bit of a Swallows & Amazons style childhood I guess - horses, boat on the river, bikes and long hazy days absorbed the country. Bliss!
I need to meet some more people, having had a tough few years I need to crack on now! I'm a Mum and that is still my #1, but I'm also me!! I want to get out and have fun, and ideally find the one to have it with...
Equally happy having an impromptu picnic in a field or going to the theatre, doing some kid's stuff or having a political discussion, visiting the seaside, watching a film, gardening, National Trust visit or going for dinner. Amazing landscapes, historic buildings, the sea, forests, islands, beautiful gardens, cool events, camping, new places, mini-adventures - all do it for me!
I can get pretty passionate about things that I think are important or where I have opinions or feelings about stuff. Enjoy a good discussion or debate - and boy, is there a lot of good discussion-fodder in these strange times?! I think intelligence and knowledge & understanding is sexy (- not 'mansplaining' though......definitely not sexy 😂)

Qualities that I'd value in someone might be that they're open, caring and honest with bags of integrity. Intelligent, interested, funny. Strong but not belligerent, reliable but not boring! Supportive, not self-centred.
Someone who is up for 'doing', eg. outings, walks, food, useful stuff and silly stuff.....
I don't believe in forcing things or desperately seeking a relationship, so I am quite happy to meet people with no expectations other than activity buddies and friends. But eventually I want to love and be loved again and share life :-)
