About her
I Think I'm a bit of a throwback to another age. I don't own a T.V. and I'm addicted to Desert Island Discs (Currently working my way through the archive whilst in the bath, bliss) I spend some part of everyday in the woods near to my house with my faithful friend Connie...that's the dog; she is the best dog in the world but not the most graceful or ladylike, Connie is a proper dog.
I studied fine art and illustration at university and am as happy in a gallery and at the theatre as I am in my wellies; do scrub up accordingly. I'm passionate about the arts and regularly go to exhibitions, Saltaire is pretty much my spiritual home, if you've never been to Salts Mill then you really should. I like to read a lot, In fact I have so many books that I'm not allowed to even look at a new book until i've finished one that I already have. I'm a enthusiastic cook and have been known to go out foraging for ingredients, nettle pesto wasn't the best but my wild garlic broth is delicious (although it does look slightly 'swampy")
I have lots of interests, lots of friends and I'm fairly content with my own company but sometimes, especially on a weekend, I love to spread all the papers out across the bed to enjoy with an extra special weekend breakfast and decent coffee and It would be lovely to share the papers and a bit of debate with someone who can respond with more than a woof. I paint regularly and make all manner of crafty things and being the old fashioned type, I'm quite old school in my use of media and enjoy illustrating with my pen and inks; On a rainy day nothing beats having a good radio play on in the background, my paints out a project on the go and some homemade soup bubbling on the hob. I'm a firm believer that a bowl of homemade soup and a hot bath can cure nearly all of life's ills. In an ideal world I'd like to compliment someone's life and for someone to compliment mine xx

A cross between Mr Rochester (without the mad wife) and Blackadder (the forth not the first!) I'm not too bothered about what a person looks like on the outside; I find passionate people with their own interests, interesting. On a superficial level, I quite like woolly or cashmere jumpers, matching socks and a pair of specs...thats only if I had to be really picky! I have old fashioned manners and believe that manners maketh the man. Someone who is a friend to all things furry is would be bonus
