About her
I’m an active person, enjoying the outdoors, I’m honest, considerate, very concerned about environmental issues. I work part time, do some voluntary work, and spend time with family. I spend a couple of days a week with my grandchildren - exhausting, but delightful!
I live in the countryside and love walking. I go out with my local ramblers group and we don't just do a quick march, we do like to stop and look at the views and the wildlife. Or I take my daughter's dog for a long walk - if we’re somewhere remote it can be so quiet and still that I feel as if there’s only her and me on the whole planet! I especially love walking the coastal paths in Devon and Cornwall, such magnificent landscapes!
I also enjoy dancing French traditional bourrees, waltzes, mazurkas. But a partner that dances is not compulsory, don’t worry!
I have just bought a second hand bike, feeling optimistic! But I have actually been on a couple of bike rides, bit of a struggle up the hills but great fun!
I enjoy going to the theatre or festivals. Recently I saw the most incredible and stunning acrobatic and musical performance.
I love to spend holidays exploring unspoilt parts of Greece or Spain. I’m planning to go on a walking holiday in Greece next spring.
I enjoy an evening with good friends, a meal and some wine. I also love a quiet house with tea, biscuits and a good book!
I used to run a smallholding when my children were young, so had a very busy time then, but in a way it was quite idyllic. I would have liked to become self-sufficient (maybe I’m an old hippy at heart!) I have picked grapes in France, and oranges in Spain, and been on a few adventures.
I do believe we shouldn't get stressed over the little things that really don't matter, we should relax and enjoy life.
I do enjoy sociable fun times with friends or family, but I would love to find that special someone to enjoy some of life’s simple pleasures with.
