I am an enthusiastic, optimistic, hard working and creative lady. I am caring and fun loving and I am not afraid of a challenge, but I like people who are open and honest. I like to spend time with friends and family but am also quite happy on my own. I like time to think . I like entertaining. I like painting and I want to do more of it when I retire in a couple of years. I like to travel but I also love to be home and I love gardening, walking, cooking & doing up houses at home and abroad. I like music,( eg: Bob Dylan!) eating out with friends, going to the cinema and the theatre.
I like adventures! I don't like football although I am prepared to be tolerant of most things. I love living in the country but like to visit cities for short breaks. I like art exhibitions, open gardens, a good book, and good food. I think life is what you make it which is probably why I have braved registering with this site.
About her ideal match
I would like to meet a male companion for travelling and country pursuits maybe more. Ideally they would be self sufficient financially and be family orientated. I have two grown up children who I have brought up alone but no grandchildren as yet! I still work but I do spend a lot of time travelling and gardening so ideally I would like to share these and other country pursuits with a new man. A sense of humour is important and someone who is open and worldly. Chemistry is important.
