A wise man once coined the phrase: a subtle blend of social animal and couch potato. That’s me in a nutshell.
When I can be enticed off the sofa, I enjoy cinema, theatre, musicals, good food, the odd pub quiz or two and of course music - particularly pop, disco, soul, R&B etc a la Greatest Hits Radio. Stuff that I can sing along to (badly, but I don’t care!).
I love to travel whether beach or city breaks, and at home enjoy a good crime drama/mystery (book, TV or film).
I’m quite a sociable person (though I do like a good balance of spending time at home / in peace and quiet too).
I am relatively well educated and intelligent (though with an ATROCIOUS sense of direction!) positive, kind and empathic. I’m a fairly open book so prefer the same in others. My philosophy is to live and let live, and to help others where I can, spreading a little sunshine along the way :)
I have two teenage boys who are with me every other week and keep me on my toes, but are independent enough now that I can get back to being “me” again.
