About her
I hope that I am kind, fun, well-informed, intelligent and outgoing. I lead a busy life but am missing the joy and fulfilment that comes with a shared life. I enjoy most activities and am always open to new ideas and very much enjoy meeting new people. I have a base in London and love all it has to offer by way of museums, exhibitions, theatre and opera but equally I enjoy country walks, pub lunches, watching sport or a quiet night in. I have done a lot of sailing in the past and used to ski. I am equally happy in wellies or dressing up for a city dinner.
I hope that doesn't make me seem impossibly grand (I'm really not!) but I've been able to take advantage of opportunities that have arisen.

About her ideal match
My ideal match would be kind, well-informed, quietly confident and preferably tall but my late husband was an inch shorter than me and it really didn't matter to us or to anyone else! Geography is important as, being older, we will both have our established family, friends and communities to consider. Having said that, a semi-detached relationship where we each keep our own homes has some merits. Above all I'm looking for a relationship of equals, for someone with whom I have that elusive chemistry which is so hard to define and which can only be assessed by meeting up - but let's chat first.
