Still discovering myself now I’m over the big 50 and heading to the next milestone 🫤 so not sure how or why people should get to know me !! 🤷🏻♀️
Initially I come across as shy , nervous , quiet and unsure of myself - get to know me and other than the self doubt everything else changes .
Had a mid life crisis a few years ago and as a result acquired an allotment ( not quite the good life but fruit and veg in abundance ) , lost a lot of weight and gained an additional tattoo one is hidden , the other discrete and hopefully they won't put you off !.
50 made me realise and decide that life isn't a dress rehersal and you have to grab all opportunities - and the past year has just endorsed this , we can’t take anything for granted .
A lover of festivals , music , live gigs - the whole atmosphere and buzz of them makes you glad to be alive ! Having someone to share those experiences with would be good ...
Recently started wild swimming- Sunday mornings often spent in a cold expanse of water but ended with a hot coffee- appreciate that’s quite a niche hobby and not for everyone
Next to my family , my friends are important to me and I love spending time with them and maybe acting ' not quite my age ' ..
I love travel , my first career was sending people on holiday and as a result I have been fortunate to visit many places , that hadn't dampened my wanderlust and I love visiting new destinations and experiencing new food and drink , but equally as happy on home soil especially when food and drink is included .
I aspire to own a vintage vw campervan ( or any campervan !) and take off as and when the mood takes me - seeing the UK , Europe , the World ...
