I'm a keen gardener, like the theatre, sing in a community choir, travel for work. My lemon drizzle cakes are renowned.
I belong to a sports centre and swim there and go to yoga classes. I can sail (have Day Skipper and my longest trip has been sailing on a friend's 35ft boat from Orkney to Oban). My husband died 20 years ago and I have raised two children, both now in careers, one lives in London, the other in the Netherlands. I do some part-time work in medical research and travel to meetings around the UK and sometimes to Europe. I have also started a new part-time role advising on research which I am enjoying very much.
I enjoy cooking - especially curries and cakes.
