I always try and be a 'Glass Half Full' kinda person. I put emphasis on positivity but I do find this kind of thing quite scary.
I have recently moved back to Hertfordshire so busy connecting with old friends and making new ones.
My small Victorian house needed a bit of TLC especially the garden. Good job that’s something I enjoy doing.
I enjoy evenings with friends, going to the pub and restaurants but also enjoy nights in. I like to think that I look younger than my years, certainly this is what my mates and my kids say.
I haven’t spoken about my girls, they are 33 and 32 and lovely kids. Not at home very much, just the holidays so they leave me with lots of free time to do my own thing. I am not a culture vulture but I do enjoy visiting exhibitions which interest me. Amongst my favourites are David Hockney and Grayson Perry.
I’ve been on my own for a few years so won’t be rushing into anything too quickly. Let’s just see how it goes.

Who am I looking for? Such a difficult question. There are particular qualities that for me would be so important. A modicum of charm, a sense of humour and a willingness to listen and to talk. I would be looking for someone who had respect for younger people and of course animals! But most importantly, respect for me.
