About him
Why should you get to know me? I think the response of my friends would be...great company, intelligent, resourceful and not too bad looking.
Been single far too long, with last relationship around 4 years ago, although divorced in the mid-noughties. Switched off my dating radar for the last couple of years as most of us were forced to.
The lockdown reintroduced me to cycling which I had been keen on in my early life. I also love singing, not in the shower but with a Rockchoir which is a far change from my days of singing more formal music. Keen on photography which I turned into a profession 10 years ago. Have played golf and skied but as regards the latter I now prefer get those rays at the mountainside cafes.
Career wise I was in banking in the City until 1999, then wanting a change became sales director for a couple of start ups. First was selling software into Banks and then I progressed to selling software more generally. These days life is flexible and a mix of photography and internet marketing so as you see somewhat of an entrepreneur which I like in a partner.
Originally from Norfolk, where my wider family live, I moved to Hampshire in 1989, via other Eastern Counties and London . I love countryside and the sea but cultural visits to London too. Did travel quite a bit professionally including USA, Africa, Indian sub-continent and lots more but so much more still to see.
I had a son late in life which has kept me young spirited. Since graduating in architecture he is now up in Edinburgh.
A couple of preferences which will help us click...fresh coffee drinker not instant or tea; a night owl rather than an early bird.

Let's not be too prescriptive here but brains are important to me and someone who takes care of her appearance. Not looking for a supermodel or gym bunny but someone average with curves in the right places.

On a previous attempt at internet dating I was ghosted too often when we started to dialogue which is cruel and pointless - it's equivalent to being stood up in the traditional style of dating many of us where used to.
