I am friendly, good humoured, independent, capable and practical (although my lovely son in law might tell you how often he helps me sort out my more adventurous DIY builds - but I like to give it a try!).
I am a graduate who was at a senior leadership level until I switched to being a foster carer. Both of those seem to put a lot of men off!
But I am pretty easy going. I am told by my family I should look for someone younger who is more of a match for my energy levels and modern thinking; but I am sure there are men in my own age group out there somewhere who can keep up; although I am not excluding younger men! I am very loving, passionate and tactile. I love holding hands, cuddles and kisses. But not looking for casual or virtual relationships .
I have been widowed since 2018 and the lock downs have highlighted that it would be lovely to be in a long term relationship again. I am an artist, crafter, writer alongside my current occupation of foster caring. I have a teenage foster child. I also childmind two pre-school grandchildren a couple of days a week. I live in a very rural village with two dogs, four cats and five rescue chickens. I am a keen gardener in a far as I can be with hens and two young labradors 'helping' (and recently a cow eating my courgettes in my veggie patch). I love the rural life but used to be a city based senior leader in education and the public sector so I also like to dress up and be a culture vulture. Happy mucking out stables or at the opposite end of the spectrum dressed up for a formal event.

Whilst I am accustomed to doing things on my own it would be really lovely to have a partner with whom I can truly share all aspects of an active life at every level. I am tactile and like holding hands, cuddles and kisses. I am looking for a mutually loving and supportive long term relationship. Bonus points for a romantic who likes to cherish his lady as well as rolling his eyes with the rest of my family when I am in project mode.
