I have joie de vivre, am positive and passionate. Generous, romantic and loyal.
What do I love? The Great Outdoors. I enjoy walking, the mountains and skiing - I'm only a beginner but keen to improve! I love the countryside and am passionate about rural issues and horses.
I also love the city - enjoy the theatre, film, museums,
art and architecture.
I love travelling and consider myself to be reasonably well-travelled. Did languages and linguistics as my first degree. Still lots of destinations on my bucket list and I'd love to find someone with whom I could explore new places and cultures. I'm open-minded and culturally aware. I love learning new things and am not one to be content with pipe and slippers.
I'm active and like keeping fit - I go to the gym when time permits and sometimes do yoga.
Job-wise, I'm in a professional role but my job does not define me. Am comfortable in my work suit, skinny blue jeans, little black cocktail dress for that special occasion or outdoor gear and walking boots.
In some ways I'm a little old-school and traditional. I have strong family values and adore my grown-up boys who are now 23 and 17.
I lead an active life and have a pretty busy social calendar but recognise there are times when I miss the companionship of being in a loving relationship and simple romantic pleasures.
